The ASMC has a twofold purpose: to promote the education and training of its members, and to support the development and advancement of the profession of military comptrollership.

The Music City Chapter is dedicated to these two increasingly critical efforts, providing interesting and challenging opportunities for its members and encouraging progress in the field of financial management. I am a firm believer in lifelong learning and continuous personal growth. As chapter President, I will strive to act on this belief by helping us all meet our individual professional goals

The Executive Board, committee chairs, and volunteers have been energetic, creative, and committed to the chapter's success since its charter in 2001. I am confident that our current officers and members will build on that success and continue to represent the chapter capably and enthusiastically

The challenge for all of us is to do our best to become leaders, managers, and exceptional representatives of our profession, and the Music City Chapter is one of our best avenues to achieving this goal. I'd like to thank you all in advance for your commitment to quality for our chapter, and look forward to the coming year. I will try to keep the energy and enthusiasm flowing, and to help us all meet our professional needs.
