The Music City Chapter of the American Society of Military Comptroller (ASMC) was
chartered on 3 July
2001. Lieutenant General U. S. Army (Retired) James F. McCall,
Executive Director, accepted our petition, establishing the Nashville Chapter. The newly
formed chapter joined the Middle Tennessee Chapter, located in Tullahoma, Tennessee, and
the Tri-State Chapter, located in Millington, Tennessee, as the third ASMC chapter within
the State of Tennessee.
The purpose of the Music City Chapter is to promote the education of
our members through the improvement and development of their capabilities relating to
military comptrollership. This fulfillment would be through monthly meetings, seminars and
training classes. Information will be distributed through our quarterly newsletter,
The Music City Beat, a chapter website and periodic electronic mailings
telling of upcoming events.
The lunch hour monthly meetings are held at the Federal Courthouse Building, 801 Broadway,
Nashville, Tennessee, on the second Tuesday of each month, with changes to be announced.
A guest speaker is featured each month for the interest of both members and non-members. |
